Column Comments

The following are comments are from readers of the column:

I just wanted to take a few moments to tell you how much I enjoyed reading your column. It never ceases to amaze me just how life seems to offer up opportunities and the exact "words of wisdom" I need, at the time when I need them most in my life. I appreciate your direct style of writing and especially enjoyed the analogies you make.

Thank you for adding Bryan Golden’s column to your publication. I have a troubled teen in my family, and I am sending him a copy of Bryan’s column inside his Christmas Card. Thank you again for your time and for carrying this piece.

I'm a Massachusetts resident who was given your article to read (Basic Principles To Live Without Limits); the one that appeared in the Dec 4-17 issue of the Resident. I really enjoyed it

Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed reading your column. It was great!

Your recent 10 step columns have been A+. Keep up the good work.

I read your column on Nov. 27th pertaining to the "basic principles", I attempted to access Part 1, but the archives only go back 14 days. Would it be possible for you to send it to me via e-mail? I am currently working on my dissertation for my Ph.D. and believe that your advice will help motivate me. Thank you.

I recently read your article "Living without Limits, part 3." and found it very inspirational. I missed the first two parts. Is it possible for you to send me the first two parts?

I picked up a copy of The Resident when boarding the Cross Sound Ferry, and saved your article on The Basic Principles. I found it very interesting, but I only was able to read Part I. Is there a way I could get a copy of the complete article? I would really appreciate it, so I can hang it on my wall.

I read your article. I think that these basic principles are wonderful, useful and will guide me in my way through life. I was only able to get Part 3. Is there a way that I can get the other parts?

I had the pleasure of reading your column in early Jan and again just the other day! I believe in what you write. Thank you for sharing it with so many!

I have found a copy of the second half of your principles to live life without limits. I do not have access to the first half. If you have them on electronic copy, could you please send them to me?

Hello. I just wanted to write you and let you know how much I enjoyed your article "All We have is Today". I am a twenty year old girl and am constantly telling my mother to stop worrying. She worries over every little detail of life. Today, she handed me your article with a chuckle telling me to just read it. After I read it, I looked at her with amazement. Everything you said in your article is what I have been telling her. Your article just wrapped in all up in a nice little package. We are going to cut your article out after my father reads the paper and hang it on our refrigerator as a reminder to just go with the flow of life. Thank you.

Just to let you know your article "All We Have Is Today" was wonderful. My thoughts exactly. You could not have written it better. I have shared this writing w/family and many friends. Thank you.

I have read the first two articles and have enjoyed them. However, I am a "snowbird" and will be leaving for Michigan this week. I regret not being able to read the remaining articles. Is there a possibility you would e-mail me the remaining articles? I would be so grateful.

I just started reading in your column in the Pawling News Chronicle a few weeks ago. They are really quite good and I look forward to reading them every week. Keep up the good work and thank you. I especially like your positive attitude in facing adversity.

I just read your column. Thank you so much for the wonderful advice!! I have been having some issues at work and home where it is hard to control your emotions. Your column gave me some great ideas to avoid the stress. I was wondering if you had a book out on the market that could help me even further with these issues. Thank you again!!!!

I just read your column of May 10, 2003 in the Lake News Villager: "The Basic Principles: Part 4." Wonderful! You offer excellent advice. I am, however, upset that I missed Parts 1-3! How might I receive all the information on your 10 Principles? Do you have a pamphlet available? Is there any way to get reprints from previous issues of the newspaper?

I am writing to let you know how much my husband and I enjoy your Column. I came upon your column and began reading it regularly and saving it for my husband to read. I did find that it gave me a "boost" and helped me to look on the positive side of things during what was a very difficult time. There also seemed to be an uncanny coincidence of the weekly subject being something of particular relevance to what I was coping with or thinking about. I think your column provides encouragement and excellent advice on many pertinent subjects.
